Weolcome to My Blog

Thanks for deciding that my ideas, opinions, and thoughts were worth your time. I love to write. I am actually working on a novel and am quite excited to show the world a part of my heart and soul.
I will be writing an advice blog. This is mostly for girls but it will have some good information guys might want to know about understanding the teenage girl's mind. I am also writing about some of the good times I have had. You would have no idea how crazy a teenager's life can be until you ask them about it.
I am open to comments and advice. If there is anything I am doing well or could do better don't be afraid to tell me. I really appreciate it.
I hope you enjoy my blog. and if you do BECOME A FOLLOWER! I love followers. They are like my favorite. Right up there next to commenter s. So keep on commenting.
ps if you want to see a pic of me, look in my blog archive for: "A pic of me!"

Vain

As much as you say guys have it harder because girls have a perfect check list that they have to fit to, that's not entirely true. Guys are just as vain as girls. They always go by looks first, then by personality. (Some are different, but those are usually the gay ones. Note I said USUALLY) They see body over funny, they see boobs over brain. Girls make our lives harder ourselves. We choose to spend five hours getting ready, and the rest of our day determining whether or not we need to use six tomorrow. As a girl I know we compare ourselves to one another and less so to how each guy reacts to us. Guys, poor things, they have to have a perfect personality, one that fits to us like a glove, and have the looks on top of it. Think about the first thing you think about when meeting a guy. "Is he nice?" Then you think, "Does he have my standards?" and then, "Is he hot? Who are his friends? Who's the last girl he dated?" We judge a guy on so much it seems like we are the ones who make their lives harder, then when something goes wrong, due to our overspecialization of the poor thing, we blame them, saying things like, "Oh guys suck. They make everything harder."  However, guys are so vain it is not even funny. The fat girls, the super tall girls, the awkward girls, that girl who still has not quit learned how to do her make up, and the disgustingly skinny girls are always the ones picked last when all the "hot" or "Popular" girls are taken. I'm here to say this, fat girls need love too. Sure that poor girl may not look all that attractive, but she could have a mind blowing personality if you took the ten minutes to get past her exterior and get to know her. It is very rare that guys do this. Same for girls though. Think of the strange kid who murmurs to himself in geometry, think of the kid who is always getting pummeled by various sports equipment, and think of that kid you assume to be mute because you've never heard his voice. Have you taken the time to find out if he can talk? Have you taken the time to ask that math geek what he's saying to himself? Have you found out what that ball magnet's favorite book or movie is? No, because in general humans are vain. So no sex has it worse than the other one. We make one anthers' lives equally hard. Stop complaining and stop being so vain. I hang out with the weird kids and the "popular" kids. I ask questions to the person I wonder about, not to the gossip monger. (Keep in mind The Amazing Staci is not perfect and she accepts this, that is what makes her Amazing. DUH!) Remember this the next time you're about to lay down the social rejection wall. We are all strange and you don't like being judged, so why judge another? Remember the only perfect person to ever walk the Earth was Jesus, and we're all trying to be like him. ;) Stay Amazing. (And if you are yet to be Amazing, work for it.) =)

What does it mean to be Amazing?

What does it mean to be Amazing? How dare I call myself Amazing? Instead of asking demeaning and hurtful questions why not ask this one: How dare the world tell me I am not allowed to call myself Amazing? Who are they to demand I step off the pedestal and not let my light shine forth? The way you become Amazing is to realize that you are. You have to acknowledge the fact that you have talents, the fact that you are a child of God, who sent you hear to make an impact on others around you; who sent you hear to help lift up, and carry your brothers and sisters back to eternal glory so that they might know the joy of life, the joy of God. Being Amazing is letting yourself be who you are, and realizing that you are here to help those around you who struggle, those who have yet to see that they are truly Amazing. We are all special. We are all unique, and we are all sent here for the same reason. We are all here to pass the final exam, and move on to return to our father in heaven. How dare the world impress upon you that it is not acceptable to let your true glory, your true Amazingness shine forth? Why do they ask of us to still our tongues, and flick out our lights so that we may not cast a shadow on our brothers and sisters who are too weak, too afraid, to let themselves shine? Being Amazing is no crime. The true crime is denying the world of the knowledge that they are in fact, Amazing. We all have our strengths, and thus we all have our weaknesses. The whole point of this is so that we may use the strengths we have to help those who are weak in that area. Would you not expect your neighbor, your father, your mother, your brother, your sister, and your teachers to help you strengthen your weaknesses when they so willingly ask for your help when they see that it is needed?  Why must we scuffle and scoff at one another when really, we are all here to help, and we all have burdens to bear? Why would anyone judge another by the burden they bear simply because it is a burden? We were given that trial to make us stronger, and it is like scoffing at a body builder simply because he is working hard to become stronger and more fit. It makes no sense! I challenge you to be Amazing. Let your light shine forth and show the world that you are, in fact, truly Amazing. It is not a crime to value the gifts God has given us, it is a crime not to share them. I love you, my readers. Stay Amazing. =)

Give credit

I recently found this quote:
"Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show."-David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.
What does that even mean? Well the way I interpreted this is even if I'm not the one to fix everything in my life, I've got to give credit to those who have also helped get you through this life. In making a record of your life, it is impossible not to tell the tales of the Amazing people around you. Just reading this blog you'll read about a few people who have influenced my life. Who have helped to make me the person I am so proud to be today. We are all a spider web, connecting and twisting together. Without one string of web, the others around it could not hold their positions correctly and the whole thing would come crumbling down into nothing more than a spider's butt juice. (Yup, it would be the equivalent of poo.) In other words, you affect the path of the people around you's lives. Give credit and thanks where they belong, to the people who have held you up, when other wise you would have come crumbling down. I love you guys, and please know I'll always be giving you the credit you deserve. I hope you're willing to do the same. Stay Amazing. =)

A few of my favorite things

This is in no particular order, so don't get all offended or grumpy. (I don't really care if you do, but it will save you some drama not to freak.)

  • Yogurt. (Makes me so happy I can't even tell you)
  • Techno music. (I love to be happy and moving my bootay to a sick techno beat is one of the best ways to put The Amazing Staci in a good mood.)
  • Reading. (What better way to escape than to read?)
  • Writing. (I feel like I'm ranting sometimes and that helps me manage stress, also I am so passionate about writing it makes me cry sometimes.-Yeah it is all part of the crazy within.-)
  • Friends. (Although I want to strangle them sometimes it is always good to know someone's got your back)
  • Chocolate. (Need I say more?)
  • Music in general. (Techno is in a category all of its own. Ewe, but I do not consider country a form of music, it is a form of torture.)
  • Boys. (Oh my gosh, there is nothing like a boy to make or break my mood. We -or at least I-couldn't survive without them)
  • Poprocks and making out. (Ever made out while eating Poprocks? It is life changing.)
  • Camping. (The great out doors calls to me like fricking bacon to men. I've been camping my whole life and it makes me so happy. It also reminds me of my sister. We had a lot of good times camping.)
  • The color green. (I know why but I'm not going to explain it.)
  • Animals. Wolves in particular. (I have always been an animal person, and wolves are one of my three favorites. Wolves, horses, and cows. I'm not going to explain why. Lol Sucks for you.)
That's just a few of my favorite things. Feel free to comment and ask about some others. Love Y'all. Now you know a little more about me! (Yay for you!) Stay Amazing. =)

Yay for sleep!!!

As most of you know already, I am not one who gets a lot of sleep, and I'm coolio as a pickle about that but today I got school off, and I totally got woken up at five in the fricking morning, so I didn't get much. I am so going to pass out as soon as I post this and end my text conversation. Last night, I simply passed out. It was good to feel that. My dad read a study that said teenagers need at least ten hours of sleep each night so my bedtime has been bumped from eleven to eight. I usually go to bed around eleven though ;) (When you read a good book...well it is like a drug. That is right, books are my crack. I'm such a rebel.) Wow, I told you my topics are getting so lame!! I need a new one. Comment and tell me what you want to read about. (Oh and no need to tell me how bad this post sucks, I already am aware of it.)  Love you peeps. Stay Amazing. =)

Old people

Old people are amazing. They have lived longer, they have seen more, and usually they have the best sense of humor ever. There are some grumpy old people that try to chase kids off their lawn, and there are some who would yell at you for listening to music "too loud". This just makes me love them even more. I love crabby old people, they're the best. This topic is really random I know, but it was the only thing I could think of to write about. Ha, I remember one episode of scrubs where they were talking about how it is cute when old people fart. I personally think that is just nasty but it is funny to think that anyone would think that. Who is your favorite old person? What is the creepyest old person you know? What makes them creepy? Ha, write me a comment. I am sorry this post was lame, I just need more topics to write about, so give me some otherwise you are going to have to read crap like this. Stay Amazing. =)
